Rochester, N.Y. - A quick acting state trooper rescued a man who tried to jump off a bridge on Sunday.
While police officers tried to talk the man down, Trooper Pat Hargather rushed up behind the man, grabbed him, and pulled him back to safety.
"In a situation like this, you can see for yourself, knowing the circumstances, if trooper Hargather had not taken the actions...the gentleman probably wouldn't be alive today," said Lt. Jon Lupo of the N.Y. State Police.
