Rochester, N.Y. - Two area colleges are getting top marks in a new report from the American Cancer Society.

The Society’s annual Tobacco Free U report measures tobacco bans on New York campuses and for the first time is recognizing individual schools for their rules on tobacco use and enforcement.

Roberts Wesleyan College and Finger Lakes Health College of Nursing made the American Cancer Society's Tobacco Free U Dean's List for having among the most comprehensive health rules in the State.

Smoke-free and tobacco-free campuses are part of a growing trend that is detailed in the new American Cancer Society report released Tuesday in recognition of "Kick Butts Day".

According to the Society's report, the number of colleges that have adopted tobacco-free, smoke-free policies since the mid-2000's has increased 30 fold.
