Two Arrested In Brockport Home Invasion

Brockport, N.Y. - Two men face charges in a home invasion late Wednesday night in Brockport.

Police said Jerome Roberts, 27, and Jeffrey A. Richardson, 22, forced their way into the man's home at 11 p.m., robbed him, and beat him with a blunt object. Both men are charged with robbery, burglary and assault.

The victim, John Marlowe, 50, suffered multiple injuries to his face, head, and chest. He was treated an released from Lakeside Hospital.

Marlowe told 13WHAM News the attack stemmed from a $200 debt over drugs.

Investigators said the men found Marlowe didn't have any money, and then broke into a neighbors apartment and stole cash. The neighbor was not hurt.

The victim knew the alleged attackers. Police said the information from Marlowe led them to a home on Clinton Avenue, where both men were arrested.
