Canandaigua, N.Y. -- Two people are facing grand larceny charges in Ontario County after police say they stole nearly a quarter-million dollars worth of manufacturing materials.
Ontario County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested Scott Farrands of Clifton Springs and Alexandre Koulikovski of Ottawa, Canada.
Deputies say an investigation revealed Koulikovski was entering the Pactiv property in Canandaigua and removing trailers loaded with raw material.
The trailers were taken to a company owned by Farrands and off-loaded before being returned empty to Pactiv.
The materials were shipped to other locations.
An audit by Pactiv found that the company was missing about $240,000 worth of material over the last three months.
