Clarendon and Barre, N.Y. - Icy roads were blamed for two separate accidents Wednesday morning, according to the Orleans County Sheriff’s Office.
The first accident was at 7 a.m. on State Route 31-A in Clarendon. A Land Rover ran off the road and hit two trees before overturning.
The driver, DeCarra D. Johnson, 51, was treated by at the scene by EMTs and released.
The second crash happened at about 7:15, also on State Route 31-A in Barre, when a pick-up ran off the road into a ditch. It overturned before landing on the driver’s side.
The driver, Reinhard W. Rogowski, 61, or Medina was taken by ambulance to Medina Memorial Hospital, with what were described as non-life threatening injuries.
