Clyde, N.Y. - A man from Clyde was jailed because of charges stemming from a domestic incident in which he allegedly refused to stop and let his daughter and her mother out of the car after being asked repeatedly to do so.

Kevin Lee Martinez, 25, of Clyde was arrested at his home on Caroline Street Tuesday, and charged with unlawful imprisonment, endangering the welfare of a child and harassment.

Martinez is accused of pushing the mother in the face, punching her, and attempting to pull her out of the car—all while she was sitting next to her daughter in the backseat, according to Ontario County Sheriff’s Deputies.

He is being held in the Ontario County Jail on pre-arraignment detention, to appear later in Phelps Town Court.
