Rochester, N.Y. - Cynthia Middleton says she shops at the Volunteers of America Thrift Store on Lake Avenue at least three times a week.
Middleton says she loves to look for bargains and treasures and has saved hundreds of dollars.
When she heard that the store had just hit one million dollars in sales she told us: "I think they have 30,000 of my money!"
Managers say the store is clean and orderly and offers people a bargain on items that would cost much more in a department store.
All of the items are donated, while most are used, they are clean, neat and a good deal.
