Brighton, N.Y. - About 200 people came out to Linear Park in Penfield on Friday to pay tribute to 21-year-old C.J. Schoen.
Schoen's mother spoke to the crowd.
Schoen was killed Wednesday by his former roommate during a dispute.
Schoen's former roommate, 23-year-old Max Wyant has been charged with murder.
