Clarence, N.Y. (AP) - A candlelight vigil is planned to mark the third anniversary of the deadly crash of Continental Flight 3407 near Buffalo.
The Sunday evening ceremony will start with a candlelight procession from a church to the site of the crash in the town of Clarence. At the site, a brief remembrance ceremony is planned.
All 49 people on board the Newark, N.J.-to-Buffalo flight were killed when the plane experienced an aerodynamic stall and crashed into a home a little after 10 p.m. on Feb. 12, 2009. A man inside the house also died.
The crash was blamed on pilot error.
A memorial currently under construction at the crash site will be dedicated in June.
