Rochester, N.Y. - If you were hoping to get tickets to see Abby Wambach and Team Gold on Friday morning, you'll have to wait a little longer.
Those tickets will not go on sale August 17, as initially announced.
According to its Web site, the U.S. Soccer Federation is working with stadium officials to get more seats.
The hope is to procure additional tickets for sale to the general public--then the sale for those would be held at a later date.
Soccer fans packed Sahlen's Stadium last year after the World Cup to see hometown star Abby’s team go against the Flash.
This year's match will showcase the whole Olympic team.
The problem is -- virtually all seats were sold before the general public could get any.
"They said they sold over 10,000 tickets yesterday in a pre-sale…it's the general public that comes around here all the time and really wants to see it," said soccer fan Dave Brooks.
That match, against Costa Rica though, is September 1.
We're still waiting to hear when the tickets will go back on sale.
