Warsaw, N.Y. - A fire on Christ Road in Warsaw destroyed approximately $200,000 worth of equipment and vehicles, according to Wyoming County Emergency Services.

Mike and Joan Seewaldt owned the large tool shed which was filled with motorcycles, cars, boats and tractors.

In spite of extremely cold weather, firefighters from multiple departments saved the nearby house and barn. They were on the scene for four hours—progress was hampered by the high winds.

One firefighter did suffer an eye injury, but was treated at the scene and remained on duty.

After an investigation, it was determined that a faulty wood stove chimney was the cause of the blaze.
