Rochester, N.Y. – Let the games begin!
The Special Olympics’ 2013 State Winter Games kicked off Friday night at the Rochester Riverside Convention Center. Over 650 athletes are expected to participate in Saturday’s games.
Events include cross-country skiing at Bristol Mountain, as well as well as a figure skating competition at the Genesee Valley Park Sports Complex Ice Skating Rink in Rochester.
All of the weekend’s events are open to the public.
