Dundee, N.Y. - A 24-year-old Dundee woman has been jailed on charges of rape, in connection with a case involving a person under the age of 17.
After an investigation, the Yates County Sheriff’s Department arrested Amanda Comfort, 24, of Dundee and, in addition to the rape charge, charged her with a criminal sexual act and endangering the welfare of a child.
She was arraigned in Benton Town Court and is in Yates County Jail on $2,500 cash bail. She’ll return to Barrington Town Court at a later date.
