Geneva, N.Y.- A 22-year-old woman is recovering at Strong Hospital after she was hit by a tractor-trailer in Geneva Thursday.
It happened around 5:30 p.m. at the corner of South Cloverleaf Drive and Hamilton Street.
Police say Julie Hembeck was crossing Hamilton Street when she was hit by the rig as it was turning onto the street. Police say there was no crosswalk.
Hembeck was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The investigation continues; no word if the driver of the tractor trailer will be ticketed.
