Richmond, Virginia - Alec Kornacki was working on his car Saturday when it fell on top of him.
His 22-year-old daughter, Lauren, rushed outside and found her dad under the car.
Seconds later, she did the unthinkable.
"I lifted it up right here and just kind of threw it, shoved my body into it as hard as I could then came back and dragged him out and started CPR,” Lauren said.
She had just lifted a 3,000 pound car off her dad.
“It flashed like, I'm going to lose my dad…seeing him move and breathing I literally just sat there and was watching his chest rise and that's when I lost it. I started crying,” she said.
Lauren's dad is in the hospital with several broken ribs and other fractures, but nothing that appears to be permanent damage.
