Woman Who Died In Farmington Crash Identified

Farmington, N.Y. - One woman has died in a motor vehicle accident in Farmington.

A sedan traveling south on Payne Road around 7:45 p.m. Tuesday evening either failed to stop or failed to yield at a stop sign and was t-boned by a truck heading east on Shortsville Road, pushing both vehicles 90 feet into a nearby field.

The passenger in the car, Amanda Crow, 25, of Canandaigua was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the car, Ashlie White, 24, of Canandaigua suffered a non-life-threatening back injury and was transported to Strong Hospital.

The driver of the truck, John Ceballo, 26, from Shortsville, was not injured.

Investigators worked to recreate the accident to determine why it happened.
