Rochester, N.Y. – When a 27-year-old woman was getting out of her car on Park Avenue Wednesday morning, a man shoved her to the ground, grabbed her purse and groceries--and ran off.
Rochester Police Officer Nick Romeo spotted the incident from five blocks away at Miegs and Tracy Streets, took up the chase, and caught Isaac Giovanetti, 19, in a parking lot on Monroe Avenue.
The officer arrested Giovanetti, and returned the woman’s purse and her two bags of groceries.
