Rochester, N.Y. - Construction on the new RTS Transit Center is scheduled to start today.
The bus station will be built in downtown Rochester on Mortimer Street Between South Clinton and Saint Paul.
The $50 million building will be an enclosed, one story space.
It will replace the outdoor shelters on East Main Street.
The new transit center is expected to open in 2015.
