Sheldon, N.Y. – Fire destroyed a barn a Wyoming County Monday.
Fire officials said gasoline ignited during a snowmobile repair shortly before noon on Route 77 in the Town of Sheldon. They said the barn, which contained $75,000 worth of farm equipment, was a total loss.
The nearby house was saved from any damage. No one was injured.
