Rochester, N.Y. - As awareness of sexual abuse of children increases, so does the need for addressing the problems that go along with it.

To increase the community’s ability to help kids in such situations, Bivona Child Advocacy Center and the YMCA have announced that they will be working together.

Bivona Child Advocacy Center, which began in 2004, is a group of 21 agencies organized to help children and their families deal with sexual and physical abuse from one location.

The “Y” has been around for over 150 years nurturing children and families to improve health and well-being.
