Stanley, N.Y. -  Ontario County Sheriff Phil Povero says investigators being at the home of Adam Chase, a missing Stanley man, was part of larger investigation into his disappearance.

Adam Chase, 32, walked away from his home in the town of Stanley on June 14th after arguing with his wife and hasn't been seen since.

On Thursday night, investigators focused on two scenes. At one unspecified location, deputies found what they believe to be human remains, but did not immediately identify them.

Sheriff's deputies were also at Chase's home on Mott Road in Stanley. Investigators said they were waiting for a search warrant.

Povero said the new searches came from new information in the case, but he did not disclose the source of that new information.

Adam Chase's wife, Rose, was questioned along with several people, but no one was charged  Thursday.

Povero will update the media on the case Friday morning at 11.
