Alfred, N.Y. - The Alfred Fire Department responded to Rose Apartments on Glen Street just after 5 p.m. Sunday evening for an explosion.
Officials say all residents at the complex in the Village of Alfred have been accounted for.
Two residents were transported to area hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries.
The cause of the explosion is under investigation.
The Red Cross is on scene to help those who have been displaced from the explosion. In addition, a shelter has been created at the Alfred State Campus.
