Macedon, N.Y. - The Wayne County Sheriff's Department is investigating what lead to a dead body found at a recycling plant.
The Wayne County Undersheriff confirms that workers at the Alpco Recycling Plant on Macedon Road found the body in a dumped load of trash around 10:30 a.m. Wednesday.
The truck had been making a run on Monroe Avenue in Rochester and Pittsford. Officials say the victim did not have ID, but authorities tell us they have a lead.
The victim is described as a white, middle-aged male. Wayne County Sheriffs are working with Macedon Police and the Monroe County Sheriff's Office.
