Three People Assaulted Near Blue Cross Arena

Rochester, N.Y.- Three people were assaulted near the Blue Cross Arena Saturday night.

Rochester Police said officers helping with the dismissal of a basketball game on East Main Street around 10:30 p.m., came across an individual who was found on the ground after apparently being assaulted.

At the same time, another person found across the street with an apparent slash wound to his lower body and a short time later a third individual arrived at St. Mary's Hospital by private vehicle with a minor stab wound to his lower body.

Police said all three victims were treated and released from the hospital.

Investigators learned the three victims attended the game and when it ended, they were confronted outside and assaulted by several unknown male suspects.

No word yet what led to the incident.
