Rochester, N.Y. – Beach goers have been given the all clear to swim in Lake Ontario.
Ontario, Durand Eastman and Hamlin beach are will all be open for swimmers on Saturday. Ontario and Durand Eastman were shut down on Friday when the Monroe County Health Department measured high bacteria levels in the water.
With thunderstorms possible throughout the day, swimmers are warned to leave the beach immediately and find shelter in case of a storm.
The beaches will be open until 7 p.m.
