Rochester, N.Y. – One person is dead, and another is injured after an accident in the city Thursday evening.
Rural Metro tells 13WHAM News a car occupied by two adult males crashed into a tree around 4:45 p.m while heading south on Bennington Drive towards Dewey Ave.
The driver was pronounced dead at the scene. The passenger was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital with what police say are non-life-threatening injuries.
Police say speed and road conditions are likely factors in the crash.
