New York, N.Y. – A reported suspicious device aboard a Delta flight out of New York City turned out to be a false alarm.

The plane was headed for Spain around 8 p.m on Monday when federal air marshals spotted wires in one of the bathrooms. Pilots turned the flight around and safely landed back at JFK.

All passengers were taken off the plane as a bomb squad swept the plane. The device turned out to be harmless and all passengers allowed back on board.

A TSA spokesperson says no arrests have been made in connection with the incident.
