Rochester, N.Y .- The family of a local man who is missing donated money to the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office Monday to help send an investigator to an out-of-state missing person training conference.
The family of Brian Sullivan presented Sheriff Patrick O’Flynn with a check for $1,600 to cover the cost of sending an investigator to the Responding to Missing and Unidentified Persons National Training Conference in Appleton, Wisconsin.
Sheriff’s investigator Jeffrey Branagan will attend the conference later this month.
In a statement Sheriff O’Flynn said, “The Sullivan’s generosity will not only support the Sheriff’s Office but it is a gift that will benefit the citizens of Monroe County whom we serve. The skills that Investigator Branagan will acquire and share with our entire organization will help hone our skills for future missing person investigations”
Brian Sullivan was last seen in the early morning of July 8, 2007, at the Burger King restaurant located on Chili Avenue near Route 390.
His vehicle, a 1995 red Pontiac Sunfire, license plate # DXU3048, was found nearby at the end of Lettington Avenue.
Brian was last seen wearing blue jean shorts, a blue pin-striped button down shirt and a green baseball cap.
