Brighton, N.Y. -
Four men entered Gold 4 Cash Monday night--apparently to look at jewelry. But after a few minutes, one of the four pulled a gun and waved it in employees' faces."He said this is a robbery and stuck the gun in my face," Gold 4 Cash owner Sal Arcidiacono said. "I seriously thought they were going to kill us."
Surveillance video from inside the store shows one of the robbers leap over the counter, threaten to shoot an employee, and then tie up an employee and the store's owner. (You can watch the surveillance video by clicking "Video" in this story).
The four robbers cleaned out the cash register and a jewelry case.
"They emptied out most of the diamonds, gold, in ten minutes. It wasn't a good experience," Arcidiacono said.
But the robbers weren't finished. Surveillance video shows one suspect hitting the store owner over the head with the gun demanding the combination to the safe.
The store's owner told the robbers the safe operates on a time release and he didn't have access to it until the next morning.
Brighton Police say eight cameras recorded the robbery.
The suspects may have been driving a white SUV.
