Rochester, N.Y. – According to its website, the Bug Jar, which voluntarily closed down after a homicide in June, will open back up for business on Monday, July 2. The Bug Jar closed down after a fatal shooting that happened after a fight erupted during a rap concert the bar was hosting.
Police said this was the third incident at the bar.
After the shooting, representatives from the Bug Jar met with city leaders and police to discuss the future of the bar.
