Pittsford, N.Y. – Members of Governor Cuomo’s cabinet turned a Pittsford school into a campground Monday.

Roughly 600 bike riders spent the night at Jefferson Road Elementary School as they ride along the Erie Canalway Trail back to Albany.

Their eight-day, 400-mile ride started Sunday afternoon just outside of Buffalo. The goal of the ride is to promote economic development in cities and towns along the canal.

The group broke camp Tuesday morning and are back on the trail.
