Ontario County, N.Y. – Ontario County Sheriff’s deputies are investigating a string of larcenies from unlocked cars in Farmington and Canandaigua.
The incidents happened between late Tuesday night and early Wednesday morning on Mountain Drive, Mountain Ash Drive, Birchwood Drive, and Sablegate Drive.
Police say money, purses, credit cards and electronics were stolen.
In one incident, thieves entered an attached garage to gain access to a vehicle.
Authorities say Flowers by Stella on Route 332 in Canandaigua was also burglarized during the overnight hours and could be related to the vehicle larcenies.
