NEW YORK (AP) - It's Cat Friday in New York City.

Not to be outdone by retail's annual Black Friday, the ASPCA is offering "deep discounts."

Cats over a year old will have their adoption fees waived. Kitten fees are more than half off.

Like the stores, the ASPCA's adoption center on Manhattan's Upper East Side has extended its hours for the big day.

It's open until 10 p.m.

A sneak preview of the furry faces is available on the ASPCA's web site.
