Buffalo, N.Y. -- The city of Buffalo is touting its hottest export this weekend.
The 11th annual National Buffalo Wing Festival kicked off on Saturday.
Since its inception, the festival has drawn more than 500,000 people from dozens of countries, as well as from every state in the U.S. Among the festivities -- a cheesiest couple contest, a dance-off, and several wing-eating contests. The main event, the United States Chicken Wing Eating Contest, takes place at 4 p.m. on Sunday.
Last year, 555,000 chicken wings were served at the festival.
