Chili, N.Y. - Fire investigators determined a cigarette started a fire that destroyed several apartment units at The Parklands May 10.
They say the cigarette ignited combustible materials on an apartment deck.
The quick moving fire that afternoon destroyed six units on Park Hill Court.
Everyone inside the building made it out safely.
