Chili, N.Y. - Fire crews responded to the Wegmans distribution center on Market Street for a chemical exposure situation Thursday afternoon.
Gates' fire chief said a diluted corrosive cleaner leaked inside the food processing plant.
No food was contaminated
Two employees were exposed to the chemical and one was sent to the hospital as a precaution.
The fire chief said the incident was considered minor.
