Rochester, N.Y. - After a long break without snow, the 13WHAM Weather Authority is forecasting snow this weekend.
Snow showers are in the forecast Friday night with an accumulation of an inch or less.
More snow is expected Saturday and Sunday as lake effect snow develops. Additional accumulations are expected Saturday night into Sunday.
There is a 60 to 70 percent chance of snow in Western New York.
Temperatures will also drop with a cold front pushing in from Canada.
Highs this weekend are expected to be near or into the low 20s.
