Teen Robbed, Shot in Broad Daylight

Rochester, N.Y. - A Rochester teenager was taken to the hospital Sunday after being robbed and shot in broad daylight.

The incident happened around 1:45 p.m. on Colvin Street, which is off Maple Street on the city's west side.
 
Police said the 18-year old was walking down the street when he was approached by two or three men. The suspects stole cash from the victim, then shot him in the lower body.

The victim was taken to Strong Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Police are still investigating.
