LeRoy, N.Y. -- Two men face felony charges for allegedly stealing 32,000 dollars worth of copper wire.

The Genesee County Sheriff's Department says Michael Nicometo, 28, of LeRoy and Jonathan Smoak, 22, of Batavia stole wire from the Dolomite Facililty in LeRoy.

The thefts did extensive damage to the facility's electrical system.

Both suspects were arrested this week on burglary, criminal mischief and grand larceny charges.
