Rochester, N.Y. - Police said a Rochester man trying to steal copper from a home in the city was caught in the act.
Rochester Police arrested Carlos Rivera-Perez, 44, on Thursday afternoon.
Officials got a call about a suspicious vehicle on Myrtle Street. When they went to check it out, they apparently found Perez inside the house. Police say he was in the process of stealing copper.
Police are crediting the community with this arrest.
