Rochester, N.Y.— A Monroe County Legislator is stepping down to work on state-sponsored jobs and Rochester-area business programs.
Democrat Vinnie Esposito of Irondequoit will serve as the deputy regional director of the Empire State Development’s Finger Lakes Office. He is being appointed to the job by Governor Cuomo.
In his new role, Esposito will work to expand business and job growth in the Rochester area.
His resignation from the legislature takes effect next week.
