Greece, N.Y. - The sign at Crescent Beach will come down next week. It will re-open on Sunday May 13th, Mother's Day, with a brunch and a new name.

The restaurant will be called Sul Lago Bistro.

We are told the restaurant is under new management and will cater to a wider customer base to try and grow the business.

The restaurant closed for the winter months citing road construction and financial issues, but assured us it would re-open.

In several of 13WHAM Your Stories reports, we talked to a number of brides-to-be who canceled their wedding plans, fearing the restaurant wouldn't re-open as planned.

Many are still seeking refunds. Late today one of them received an email saying her deposit of $750 would be refunded the week of May 19th.

Melissa Cole says she was shocked to receive an email from Crescent Beach and surprised they had a new name and new management.

She was even more surprised to learn, she would, in fact, get her money back.

Melissa had booked her wedding there in the fall but canceled fearing the restaurant may not re-open.

She has booked a new venue and doesn't regret her decision. She says weddings are stressful enough without worrying if the restaurant hosting your wedding and reception will be open when you walk down the aisle.

New management of the restaurant tells us they will put up new signs next week. They tell us Crescent Beach owner is assisting in the transition, but will not be part of the new management team.

We did ask if creditors who are owed thousands of dollars , including 13WHAM, will also get refunds.

The management tells us, "that will be up to the attorneys for the restaurant."
