Henrietta, N.Y. – Encore Salon held a “Cut-A-Thon” Sunday to help raise money for the Golisano Children’s Hospital and for a local family.
Half of the funds are going to Brianna Gianforte and her family. Brianna has been suffering from lung damage and has been in the intensive care unit at the Golisano Children’s Hospital for the past six weeks.
Brianna’s mother, Gail Gianforte, is an employee at Encore Salon and says she is very thankful to work at the Encore Salon because of the amazing support system.
Peter Diprojetto, owner of Encore Salon, says they put this on so they could help out the Gianforte family and help raise funds for the hospital.
Half of the money raised on Sunday will go to the Gianforte family and the other half of the funds will go to the Golisano Children’s Hospital.
