(ABC News) - When it comes to distracted driving, having your kids in the car is near the top of the list.

A new study out of Australia found that kids in the backseat can be 12 times more distracting than talking on a cell phone.

Researchers also found that the average parent takes their eyes off the road for about three and a half minutes during a 16 minute trip.
