Update: Double Shooting On City's Northwest Side

Rochester, N.Y. - Rochester Police are investigating a double shooting that happened around 9:15 p.m. Friday near S. Plymouth Ave. and Columbia Ave.

Police say a 34-year-old man ran into a bar and collapsed. He had been shot multiple times in his torso and leg.  Someone inside the bar called 9-1-1.

Police found the second victim, a 21-year-old man, lying on Bartlett St. a short distance away from the bar.  He had been shot in his torso.

Both victims were taken to Strong Memorial Hospital with serious injuries, according to police. 

Police say that as of midnight both victims are considered to be in stable condition. 

Police are still investigating the circumstances that led to the shooting.
