Canandaigua, N.Y.- A Canandaigua man is accused of writing checks to himself from the Gorham-Middlesex Parent Teacher Organization account.

Ontario County Sheriff’s deputies charged Drew Brooks, 43, with second-degree forgery and fourth-degree grand larceny.

Police say the total amount written by Brooks to himself was $2956 and he did not have authorization to do so.

Last week, police arrested Tracy Brooks, 44 in connection with the case. She was treasurer of the PTO and is accused of stealing $50,000 from accounts she had access to between 2007 and 2012.

She is charged with second-degree grand larceny.
