Warsaw, N.Y. – On February 15th at around 1:00 PM the Warsaw Fire Department and Warsaw Police Department responded to 168 Brooklyn Street for a report of a structure fire. Once the fire was extinguished it was found that the fire had been started by a marijuana grow operation located in the attic of the residence.

After an investigation, it was found that the tenant of the second story apartment, Scott A. Moulton, was the individual who set up and possessed the marijuana grow operation.

136 marijuana plants were found along with about $3000 worth of marijuana growing equipment and supplies.

On February 16th at 11:30 AM the Warsaw Police Department arrested Moulton for unlawful growing of marijuana, unlawful possession of marijuana, and reckless endangerment of property.

Moulton is scheduled to appear in the village of Warsaw court on February 25th.
