Clarkson, N.Y. - At around 6:45 Sunday evening, Monroe County deputies responded to the intersection of Sweden Walker Road and Route 104 in Clarkson for a motor vehicle accident.
A 66-year-old Lockport woman was westbound when she ran through a red light and hit a dump truck heading north on Sweden Walker Road.
The woman was transported to Strong Memorial Hospital by Mercy Flight with serious, but non-life-threatening injuries. The driver of the dump truck was not injured.
Deputies say sun glare may have played a role in the accident.
