Irondequoit, N.Y.- A female driver was sent to the hospital Friday after her vehicle went down an embankment and tipped over into a pond.

Police say the woman was driving westbound on Route 104 when she lost control of her vehicle.

She was able to climb out of her vehicle by herself.

She was taken to the hospital with minor injuries and to get checked out for hypothermia.
