Elba, N.Y. - An Elba woman died Friday evening after crashing her SUV into a tree.
Sheriff's Deputies day 69-year-old Vincentia Smith died after her car veered off of North Byron Road shortly before 5 p.m.
She was then transported by Mercy Flight to United Memorial Hospital in Batavia where she was pronounced dead.
The crash is still under investigation.
